Warm temperatures create pools on city streets

Warmer than normal daytime temperatures and freezing overnight have created an accumulation of water on city streets and in some areas, potholes are being formed, according to a city release.

The city is reminding drivers to slow down and to “use extra caution and courtesy when driving through pools of water on streets,” it said, especially when driving by pedestrians and work crews.
