Canada unbeaten at Under-18 World Championships

Team Canada improved to 3-0 at the World Under-18 championships in Poprad, Slovakia on Monday, taking a 7-2 victory over Switzerland.
Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Jett Woo drew an assist on Canada’s fourth goal 1:15 into the third period.
Cody Glass of the Portland Winterhawks and Jack Stunicka of the Oshawa Generals each scored twice while Stelio Matthews (Brandon Wheat Kings), Kyle Olson (Tri-City Americans), and Mackenzie Entwistle (Hamilton Bulldogs) all had single markers for Canada, who scored four goals in the third period to blow open a close game heading into the third.
Jake McGrath (Sudbury Wolves) made 27 saves in taking the win.
Tribe defenceman Josh Brook was held off the scoresheet.
On Saturday, Mattheos scored his second goal of the game 2:38 into overtime as Canada took a 4-3 win over Slovakia.
Olson and Isaac Ratcliffe (Guelph Storm) also scored as — trailing 1-0 — scored three times in final the final 1:31 of the first period.
Brook took four minutes in penalties in the game.
Canada played their final round robin game against also unbeaten Finland this morning.
